Official 2016 Hollywood Fringe Participant Packet
The Fringe has put together a handy packet of reminders, marketing tips and tricks, promotional opportunities and other goodies. Read the entirety of this packet – it could contain the keys to your festival success! Check out the 2016 participant packet.
Town Hall II: Marketing
Town Hall II: Marketing is from 3-5pm at Hudson Theatres (Mainstage) located at 6539 Santa Monica Blvd. This second Town Hall will focus primarily on pre-festival marketing and advertising. There will be an informational session led by Festival Director Ben Hill, followed by a Q&A session. Everyone is invited to join us for a mixer afterwards.
Look for Footlights Editor, Peter Finlayson, at this event to find out how Footlights can enhance your Fringe Experience.
Parking: There is a parking lot on Hudson Avenue for Fringers to use if street parking is difficult. The cost to park is $7 per car and Hudson will have a volunteer at the lot to assist you.
Can’t make it to the Town Hall? All town halls and workshops are recorded and posted on the FringeTV YouTube Channel.
To reserve a seat, RSVP at www.hollywoodfringe.org.
Office Hours
The first Hollywood Fringe Office Hours will be Wednesday, March 30 at Three Clubs (1123 Vine St.) from 7pm-9pm. Three Clubs has $5 Happy Hour drink specials. Join Hollywood Fringe staff and participants every Wednesday for these casual meet-ups at different bars around Hollywood that offer you a weekly chance to network and drink with other Fringers.
Use #drinkingaboutfringe on Twitter or Instagram for updates on locations, specials, and more.
Fringe on Twitter
The second in a series of Twitter Chats of the season is from 7pm-8pm. Twitter Chats let Fringers meet and mingle online before the festival begins. It’s a great way to recruit audiences and make #fringeships long before June. You’ll get to tweet about how the process is going for you as well as the opportunity to chat with Fringe staff members. Join the discussion by using the hashtag #hff16. The chat will be moderated by the @HollywoodFringe account.
