Los Angeles Daily News: Award-winning 24th Street Theater directors Debbie Devine and Jay McAdams befriended one of the world’s leading playwrights for young audiences, while attending an international children’s theater conference in Copenhagen, Finegan Kruckemeyer. The Irish playwright gave the couple a copy of his manuscript about a man who falls in love with a bird. Now the theater company will present the U.S. premiere of “Man Covets Bird,”a coming-out love story with projections and original music, which opens Saturday night with weekend performances through Nov. 22. http://bit.ly/1LT6mWM
