equity 99 seat plan los angelesWith the clock winding down on the Settlement Agreement that was first set up in 1989, L.A. intimate theater is about to face new rules from Actors’ Equity.

Needless to say, several L.A. writers didn’t let the moment go unnoticed.

LA Stage Alliance Executive Director and Stage Raw Magazine Publisher Steven Leigh Morris penned a column to the L.A. theater community.

Long time KCRW critic Anthony Byrnes succinctly explained the situation to the general Los Angeles theater audience.

Update December 14, 2016:  Hoyt Hilsman at the Huffington Post calls it “a sad day in LA.”
